Multiple successes mark TTfE's first year!

Tram Trains for Edinburgh celebrates its first birthday this month, and we are proud of what we have achieved:

• Engaging with residents across south Edinburgh — over 400 people have attended our open meetings
• Creating the popular demand for Scottish Government to fund a technical study into the route
• Obliging the City Council to take the plan seriously, and think about how it complements the tram extension scheme
• Persuading politicians of all parties on the Council to support us

Moving forward we're continuing to persuade the transport authorities, politicians, and most importantly the public, that we need a new public transport artery across the south side and beyond. We're also developing our own reports on how to create this on the ground. Join or support us.
