Tram Trains for Edinburgh welcomes the City Council's call for government action on Reopening the 'South Sub'

TTfE were very pleased that the Full Council (on Thursday 21st) approved an amended motion calling on the Scottish Government to fund a feasibility study on reopening the South Sub using tram-trains. The motion proposed that the Transport Convener, Stephen Jenkinson, call for early action from the new transport Minister, Stephen Flynn. We were particularly pleased that representatives from all political parties supported one or other of the similar motions put to Council.

Perhaps the two Stephens can act to get the ball rolling on this huge improvement to public transport across Edinburgh & the Lothians.
