TTfE makes the news!

Last week's announcement by Transport Scotland, that they would fund a technical feasibility into the South Sub proposal, was a positive surprise for all of us. When we distributed a Press Release on Tuesday, 18th, that generated much interest in the media.

We featured in articles in the Herald, Edinburgh Inquirer, Edinburgh Reporter, STV, Edinburgh Live, Bella Caledonia, Rail Technology Magazine and British Trams Online, and a BBC Radio Scotland interview.

As we currently understand it, Network Rail will look into the technical feasibility, whilst leaving business considerations, user demand, etc., to the wider study (SEStransit) being done by SEStran. However we will be following up with both Network Rail and SEStran. Watch this space!
